I'm running version 2.0.10-1 of the package on lucid and nothing seems
to be able to get subdownloader to log in to the server. Random lines
from the console:
$ subdownloader

Solution I found out was upgrade to Karmic and install Subdownloader 2.0.10.

update released for 9.04 despite it's still in it's support cycle?

its not a problem. opensubtitles.org published that they gonna change
the host for their API a couple months ago.
