Marking 'high' based on the severity of the described problem; given
that it's unreproducible now, however, I'm also marking it 'invalid'.
If you are able to reproduce the problem again, please feel free to
reopen.
Note that a new upstream version of compiz was also uploaded on the

I was unable to reproduce the crash in either the old mesa or the new one.
However, I suppose it's possible that I somehow
ended up with the wrong version installed after fiddling around with the
downgrades.
I suspect it's really just that turning compiz on and off a lot lost
some compiz module
Okay thanks; if nothing else the testing shows it is not a regression
due to the mesa upload, which is helpful to know.

Compiz being broken looks like it's probably bug 411451. I'll try to
repro the crash properly, sorry about that.

Actually, I guess that was a fairly worthless repro since I didn't
actually reproduce the crash, just compiz being broken.

I tried rolling back libgl1-mesa-dri and libgl1-mesa-glx, and it had no affect.
It looks like compiz is getting no hardware
acceleration whatsoever, and is unable to render windows larger than about half
the screen (the background is also black).
Did you want me to try some other packages? Uni
Bryce: Sorry for the confusion, this bug report is only for the
_mesa_PopAttrib crash. I didn't see any other stacks.
I'll try out the old mesa and try to obtain a better backtrace.

Also, upstream tends to prefer focusing on one bug per bug report, so we
do as well. I'm going to limit this bug report specifically to "crash
in _mesa_PopAttrib()". You had mentioned general stability so I'm
curious if you see other crashes besides this one; if so please create a
new bug report
