This and bug 22297 are related,but slightly different. When the nvidia-
settings binary was moved from the nvidia-settings package to linux-
restricted-modules, the .desktop file was not also moved, causing this
bug. No patch has been prepared for this in the interest of avoiding a
icon bug (like

Yes, nvidias installer script adds a menu icon, but this is not
avaliable in the ubuntu package.

I think it might be a problem in the Ubuntu/Debian packages, considering
I installed the new beta drivers using nvidia's installer program and it
added a menu entry with an icon just fine.
