I can confirm this behavior. To test:

will show "waiting for other software managers to quit".

Trying it with the konsole solved the problem indirektly:
u...@koala:~$ sudo apt-get install supertux
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to
correct the problem.
u...@koala:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a
...
After that the installation worked perfektly with th
