I repeated the experiment a few minutes ago - this time redirecting output as follows: aptd -td 2> apd.log I started this about 15:04. I then ran update-manager at about 15:06. There were a number of packages (I think 9) to be installed. Then, around 15:12, I clicked on the install button. The
