Hi Lars,
This bug was reported against an earlier version of Ubuntu, can you

This might look very different in Lucid (which uses KMS and DRI2). Can
you please test for instance the latest Lucid alpha live CD?

We are trying in lucid to fallback to netbook-launcher-elf (2D version)
for hw having issue with this the clutter. I set this hw on the list to
fallback switching.

netbook-launcher crashed with SIGSEGV in radeonSwapBuffers
@Tormod Volden. I had a fellow at my LUG today having this issue. He has
an R200 based chip (Radeon Mobility 9000). This is an Ubuntu Karmic
Nebook install, all updates as of today.
The updated mesa from x-swat's x-updates did not solve the issue.
The only solution we found was to create an xorg.
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: netbook-launcher
might has something to do with my "old" Radeon 9600 mobility in the Dell
Inspiron 8600
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10
netbook-launcher: Installiert: 2.1.10-0ubuntu1

Is it the same with the new mesa 7.6.0-1ubuntu1 ? If you also could try
the mesa packages from
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/ that would be
useful.
