Ah, I see the problem. I've been away, else I would have replied
earlier. The issue is that to compile any program, really, you need
lots of development files like headers and the like. Since you're in
Ubuntu, you can run 'apt-get build-dep deja-dup' to install the packages
you need to compile i
./autogen.sh
You need to install gnome-common
installed gnome-common
./autogen.sh
/usr/bin/gnome-autogen.sh
checking for autoconf >= 2.53...

Well, that's obviously not true, since you'd have intltool 0.40.6
installed on 9.04. Hmm...
