Clicking on a newly arrived mail regularly triggers this bug ever since
I upgraded to Karmic. Restarting Thunderbird and clicking on the same
new mail again works fine.

It seems to be due to the New Mail Icon add-on (running 1.2.4). When
running in gdb:
