I've just ran into this issue this morning. In my case, the icon appears
twice, one next to the sound icon, the other next to the wireless icon.
The one next to the sound icon I could get rid of, using the method
mentioned above, but I just can't get rid of the other one. I have no
Virtual Assistan
I've never seen this icon in Lucid or Maverick. Can someone test one of
these two versions to see if this issue is still present? Thanks!

How to hid
+1 ... I've had this icon sitting around for months, and never figured
out how to disable it. It takes up space, and I've accidentally invoked
a couple of unwanted accessibility features a few times. Very annoying.
It'd be nice to have a straight-forward right-click option to remove it.
