This is an example of this behaviour in Nautilus: files with film poster
are from cache, and file "Ángeles y demonios" is new file with bug.

I am fine with that. Should I file a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org or is
this done automatically. I am not familiar with the procedure. If I
should do it let me know or when there is anything else. In any case

Thanks, it makes better sense now I didn't know about that feature and
that it worked in jaunty, it should be sent to the software writters on
bugzilla.gnome.org to be investigated that's a corner case and the
ubuntu team will probably not work on that but the upstream hackers
might know what is wr
The matroska specification allows one to attach an image file to your video
(actually you can store whatever you want in it). In jaunty
totem-video-thumbnailer used these in the video embedded images to generate a
thumbnail for this movie and only generated a thumbnail from a video frame if
the
the previous comment is not clear, if a video thumbnail is showed in
karmic what else would you expect?

Hi
The files play nice in totem there is no problem and they are all matroska
files with the mimetype video/x-matroska. Attached is an example in jaunty it
shows the Ubuntu logo in Karmic a thumbnail is produced. If there is something
else I can do let me know.
