I managed to get out of my "no-internet-lock-down" by downloading the
newest version of network-manager-gnome and libnm-glib2 from my dualboot
windows (not really sure if the second is necessary) and installing them
on ubuntu, after a reboot my network manager was up and running again.

I made exactly what #4 did, I was frustrated because I'm on Wireless and
don't know how to configure /etc/network/interfaces for it :)
But I did the "ln" and now I seeing that this has been reported and
fixed, wow :)
P.S. I'm seeing a lot of testers having to install everything again
hehehe

Installing libnm-glib-vpn and creating s simbolic link called "libnm-
glib-vpn.so.0" works fine for me.

Hi, well I experienced this bug few minutes ago, after an update my gnome
network manager was dead, I restarted the systemr but nothing happened, no
internet access, so I don't have wireless internet; wired internet still work
though.
I un- and installed the gnome network manager several times
