Janne, just fyi, because of this bug Tomboy 1.0 also introduces a change
that redirects all output from Tomboy (when run as a panel applet) to a
separate log file called tomboy-panel.log. Note that logs and other
Tomboy-related files have moved in recent development releases:

Confirming this crash. Happens when selecting "Search All Notes" from panel
icon, or "Search" from an individual note.
I get the same backtrace as Frank.
Attaching the output of

Also, I'm fairly certain that this crash started after the upgrade from
0.15.6 to 0.15.7-0ubuntu1.

I get this crash as well, but only when it's running as a panel applet.
When I run it as an application-- launched with "mono --debug
/usr/lib/tomboy/Tomboy.exe" with icon in the information area instead of
the panel-- the crash does not occur.
I'm missing some -dbgsym packages but I can't tell wh
