Well, at the very most it could be Recommends, but for sure not Depends. The
thing is, libqt4-sql-sqlite is only necessary to enable upgrades from Amarok 1
to Amarok 2, so it does not affect new installations at all and theoretically a
user could remove the package once upgraded, thus it should
@#2: I am suggesting libqt4-sql-sqlite should be in depends.
What I want is to be able to use amarok after a simple
apt-get install amarok on jaunty.
What happens:
I wanted to use amarok so I just did:
$ sudo apt-get install amarok
$ amarok
I got a screen where I could choose what directories t

Upstream here: Amarok 2.x doesn't use SQLite, but an embedded MySQL client.
From amarok 2.2 on it will be possible to use an external MySQL database.
As for other database solutions like SQLite or PostgreSQL, this is not planned,
