Recent CUPS update (cups 1.4.1-1) made it possible to select foo2zjs
driver, and this enables both LPR and RAW printing from Karmic.
Should this bug be marked "Fixed" for CUPS and "Won't fix" for hplip?

Got "CUPS: server-error-internal-error".

This must be what's changed after upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic: the
problem is, after installing this printer locally as well, there's no
longer any other option than hpijs driver for this printer in system-
config-printer (thought I remember seeing 5 or 6 options before local
install).

HP's driver (proprietary driver plugin) for the HP LaserJet 1018 works
only if the printer is connected directly via USB. Please use the
foo2zjs driver if you use this printer via the network. Simply change
the driver to foo2zjs using system-config-printer.

The print server is a BusyBox-based Linux system that automatically
loads firmware to the printer as soon as it's turned on. I'm quite sure
it works correctly, since I can currently print on that printer via
network from Ubuntu 8.04 and Ubuntu 9.04 as well as from Windows XP and
