This bug is not present in the latest release of Ubuntu, and is most
probably also not present in the latest LTS release, Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
As such, I'm closing the development task for this bug. You can

This problem looks like similar to bug 71024 and I think this problem
was solved long time ago.
