Moved to another nic. Works fine. Tried tweaking the BCM4322 with
iwconfig, no positive results, problem persists.
I am having a problem with the BCM4322 so I will submit a bug if there
isn't already one.

I have a macbook with a "Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01)" card and with both WICD and NM, this
problem exists. Going to try a new 802.11 USB NIC

The problem seems to exist in karmic even with wicd installed as
network-manager's replacement. I am using an atheros card which also had
disconnection (roaming) problems in jaunty. However, installing wicd
seemed to overcome those issues but not in karmic.

Network-manager silently disconnects
I've been experiencing the same problem for the past 4-5 days. Before
then, I had no problems with wireless network performance or
connectivity. Switching to Wicd has worked flawlessly for me so far.
This is with an Intel WiFi Link 5100.

Unclear. One indication that it's a network-manager problem is that
(like many users) I'm trying wicd instead of network-manager. I've been
up and running for almost 24 hours with no such disconnection problems.

I used to have the same problem under intrepid and jaunty, Searching for help
in the forums I found a lot of people experience the same issue. It's not
exactly a problem with network-manager but with Boadcom's bcm4322 wireless
drivers.
Things got a lot better with kernel 2.6.27, at least for so
