3D should work rather well on your card with default drivers. Can you
please attach the corresponding logs, and explain exactly what you mean
by "video wasn't working so great"?

They were removed before upgrading to the beta of Karmic and my video
wasn't working so great then either.
I was hoping Karmic would improve that.
But the information I posted was as of post #20 in this thread.

You are running the vesa driver, hence the low performance.

Did you remove the default xserver-xorg-video-ati and xserver-xorg-
video-radeon packages
For 3D acceleration, you should try removing the xserver-xorg-video-
radeonhd package and also your xorg.conf, so that the default
-ati/-radeon driver can start.
In any case, please attach your Xorg.0.log, or use "apport-collect
426970".

I've attached all that was requested.
I should note that this is after removing radeonhd and adding back
radeon.
Performance is still quite substandard.
