Ok, so to clarify, this worked in Intrepid, but since then it's not?
This is a definite regression, tagging as such, and yes if you could
test the latest daily mainline kernel as we spoke about on IRC, it would
be great.

I was not sure if that was included in the kernel.So interesting point
is that my cd/dvd drive stopped working since intrepid.Maybe it worked
for some but broke for me.
Any other suggestions? I was told by teej to try some of the mainline
kernels which ill be trying tonight.Ill report
@Rajeev -- that patch was included in the mainline kernel as of
v2.6.26-rc7, thus should be included in all Ubuntu releases from
Intrepid.
