I just got the same error. For me too the bug happend with SSH in nautilus.
I was copy a big file and during this I have delete a folder and the crash
append

I started a XFCE session and did it again. The following is what I see
on the terminal when the crash occurs.

could you run a non GNOME session and run valgrind on nautilus there or
run gconf-editor and change the
/desktop/gnome/session/required_components_list gconf key to not get the
filemanager running and then restart your GNOME session and run nautilus
under valgrind this wya?

I started nautilus in the way described by the valgrind page and ran it
until the Segfault. On my machine I can reconstruct this error again and
again. All I need to do is to connect to my external hdd via ftp on a
second tab and move a bigger file (for example 1MB) from my local tab to
the externa

running nautilus before starting a new one?
