EFI/partitions)

In general we can't ensure that the partition number sequence
corresponds to the physical order on the disk. The reason for that is as
follows. Consider an existing installation:
1 - data
2 - other operating system
Let us imagine that we resize partition 1 to make room for Ubuntu. Now
we have e
Original partition which caused the crash (in correct order on HD)
- sda-1 free space (600KB or so)
- sda1 EFI
- sda2 OSX
- sda4 swap
- sda5 EXT4 Ubuntu
- sda-1 free space (400KB or so)
- sda3 FAT32
- sda-1 free space (600KB)

Presumably this is a GPT partition table? If so, you need a bios_grub
partition for GRUB to use to embed itself; see
http://grub.enbug.org/BIOS_Boot_Partition. We'll be improving our
partitioner to deal with this better for Alpha 6.
