Currently indicator-session is using DeviceKit-power to determine
whether a machine can suspend or hibernate. I believe this is the new
"proper way" to ask for power information in the desktop. Thanks for
reporting, but I believe that the old FUSA is the package in error with
how it was done in
I can confirm this on Karmic alpha 6.
I think indicator-applet-session should behave the same way as fusa and
follow the gnome-power-manager settings in gconf-editor:
/apps/gnome-power-manager/general/can_hibernate
/apps/gnome-power-manager/general/can_suspend
