@Micah: thanks for your response. The reason why tabs sometimes detach
accidentally for me is because sometimes the pointer is in a "bad
state": I move it over the tab and it's like you click-and-hold over the
tab (even though the mouse is not clicked). Then I accidentally move it
towards the panel
Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can
become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try
this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not
need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want
