I can’t reproduce this problem on Karmic amd64, and upstream thinks that
the code using find_task_by_vpid should not be compiled at all on recent
kernels.
Can you post a log from the build, and a copy of config.log?
Also, are you using the standard Karmic kernel (2.6.31-8-generic)? If
not, pleas
