I believe they are the default, though Im not completely sure. Someone
else probably knows better than I do.
After installing that package and then logging out and then back in
again it works. Thanks.

The style (under the appearance menu) is Xfce. Tango is selected under
the icons tab. Neither of those selections have been changed since the
last time I ran openoffice.
