If this doesn't hamper your post-FF work, and the work was already
tested, then this is fine for me from a release POV. However, I defer to
Colin's "thumbs up" for the actual code review and impact assessment.

Just FYI, that one bug referenced in the mythbuntu frontend has been
fixed, and the branch has been synced to trunk as of today. The branch
is as ready to go as ever.
