[Karmic] Hangs during shutdown with kernel 2.6.31-7
--
[Karmic] Kubuntu won't shut down after today's upgrades
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/419393
The problem still occurs when I remove unattended-upgrades (with update-
rc.d)...
Shutdown and reboot works fine when the system boots on previous kernel
linux-image-2.6.31-6. It seems that it's a kernel bug in 2.6.31-7
** Package changed: kshutdown (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu)
--
[Karmic] Kubunt
Same issue when trying to shutdown, hibernate or reboot the system. It
seems that unattended-upgrades-shutdown loops infinitely.
** Changed in: kshutdown (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Confirmed

You
I can confirm this issue with my EeePC 901 and Ubuntu 9.10 with updates
I installed yesterday. So this is not only a Kubuntu problem, but a
problem of all Karmic versions.
