Alright then.
I can understand the situation. The bug is fixed for me.
Thanks.

If you uninstall NetworkManager, you will lose your network connection.
Sorry, that's just the breaks.

Everything is fine at installation time.
The problem is when I want to uninstall.
First, I want to say again that there is no more problem with /etc/resolv.conf.
This is fixed.
Here is what I do:
1. my network connection is up and running
2. I install NetworkManager and run nm-applet
3. my netw
Yeah, if you do that it will have desynced.
Just upgrade normally. The installer scripts take care of the restart
and keeping the connection information straight.
If you need to restart NM, use:
sudo /etc/dbus-1/event.d/25NetworkManager restart

Though, I lost my network connection that time. Had to disable/enable it
again...
Wondering what the reason is. I killed the NetworkManager's processes

I think it would be more appropriate to give the release of Network
Manager where it no longer touches /etc/resolv.conf, instead of
rejecting the bug. And then to declare the bug fixed.
The bug did exist at some time.
Thanks.
