Everything is fine at installation time. The problem is when I want to uninstall. First, I want to say again that there is no more problem with /etc/resolv.conf. This is fixed. Here is what I do: 1. my network connection is up and running 2. I install NetworkManager and run nm-applet 3. my netw

Yeah, if you do that it will have desynced. Just upgrade normally. The installer scripts take care of the restart and keeping the connection information straight. If you need to restart NM, use: sudo /etc/dbus-1/event.d/25NetworkManager restart -- removing network-manager does not restore /etc
