I have checked and Lucid has a driver for the DX4000. The printer is
supported by Gutenprint which comes with Ubuntu. Support was introduced
in the version 5.2.4 of Gutenprint which got into Ubuntu with Karmic
(9.10).
Note that the inkjet drivers from Avasys contain closed-source
components and th
I apologize. I seldom mark anything without commenting. The reason it
was marked incomplete is to find out if Ubuntu has now included a
complete driver for this printer.

Hmmm... I don't have access to this printer anymore, but it would be
