Joshua, in both the karmic and intrepid computer the
Edit->Preferences->Applications is set to 'Use Document Viewer
(default)' entry.
Dowloading pdf documents from other places, including the US W4 form,
works flawlessly on both computers. Evince opens as a separate program
(not embedded in firfox
ullix, Also, one other thing to try is to download this PDF form to test
downloading PDFs from outside of Ubuntuone.com:

Hi ullix, Thanks for the screenshot and detailed info. Can you tell me
what application is setup to handle PDFs in Firefox by going to
Edit->Preferences->Applications and type in "pdf" in the text input
field. Mine is setup to do a "Save as".

When I try to view an uploaded PDF (uploaded either through Nautilus
sync or direct upload from webui) using Firefox 3.0.13 on 9.04, a web
browser window pops up with only the following text:
"Could not locate content blob for object 0a738edd-5d1a-435f-aa1a-
3c662130ee4e"

Joshua, your pdf shows the same effect. And worse. Here is what I have
and did:
Computer-1 runs Intrepid, and I used this one to upload your pdf file to
my ubuntuone folder using firefox 3.0.13. Goes smoothly and shows up
immediately. Trying to download it results in what is shown in the
attached

Hi ullix, I'm sorry you're having problems with the Ubuntu One web UI. I
did a test with Firefox 3.0 and 3.5 in Ubuntu 9.04 with a small PDF. I
was able to upload the PDF and then download the file without any
errors.
Can you try uploading the PDF I'm attaching here and then downloading it
to see
