The sound files affected are all mono (in /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/ bell.ogg, dialog-error.ogg etc), the stereo ones work fine. The mono files are not properly upscaled to more than one channel. ** Changed in: libcanberra (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- event sounds are played
