We just need to wait for the new version to be sync'd (or download and

newer Version of the facebookchat PlugIn. Here it is (now V1.62):

My Pidgin-Facebookchat doesn't work at all on Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10, I have the
standard-Installation of pidgin, which is on 9.10 Pidgin V.2.6.2, and
pidgin-facebookchat 1.60-1.1
It just doesn't connect to facebook at all. At startup it says "unable to
connect to buddy-list"

I am using Pidgin 2.5.5 on Ubuntu 9.04
The FB plugin is 1.47. I think that is the newest release.
It would appear I'm not able to send to others. I don't chat with
multiple facebook folks, but I did try to summons a few after my active
chat went silent, and no one replied.
