This bug is still valid on Lucid. Since it's a LTS, and given the number of people owning Intel cards, I think it'll be nice a backport of the kernel patches needed to fix this bug. Playing a video in Totem with a resolution above 640x480 hogs my CPU at 100% and makes anything larger unwatchable. (
