This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are

The freezes might be an specific issue with my laptop, i'd guess because
it doesn't report info that would cause pciehp to load.

I have an echoaudio indigo iox card. I also had to manually configure / compile
etc.
I have outgoing sound but no incoming.
I have not tested it enough to see if freezes occur.
