I've tried recreating this bug with Precise and was unable to, given the
information you've provided. Please eithe
Fully reinstalling manually linux kernel image + headers + restricted
modules for my kernel 2.6.28-13 and then by hand reinstalling nvidia
binary driver, eventually give ma working 2.6.28-13 with binary drivers.
But this was a lot of pain.
