Title:
unsupported
This bug still exists in unzip 6.0-4ubuntu1 (using 32bit, 12.04).
Attempting to extract a zip file that is compressed in this format
results in a response " `PPMd' method not supported" and no files are
extracted from the zip.

This bug affected me today, I received a "zipx" file. I can open it in
File Roller, but any attempt to extract results in "PPMd method not
supported" this is the same as compression method 98. There is some
information about it here: http://www.winzip.com/comp_info.htm
I'm using Lucid AMD64.
--
I can confirm the failure in lucid file-roller (which uses unzip).
Somebody else should say if this is a valid zip file or not.
confirming the ticket for the time being.
