I can confirm that the SD card reader is working on Feisty, but not the
MemoryStick reader.

I can confirm that the memory stick reader works on my laptop with
windows. I will try to find a SD Card to try and see if it works with
Feisty.

I don't know since which version but SD seems to work in Feisty but only for
standard SD cards (up to 2 GB) not the big ones but I think this is a hardware
problem since the light flashes at first and stick gets mounted but after some
seconds it disappears with a file system error in dmesg and t
On the Sony TX2XP laptop, the controller handle sd card and memory
stick, and it does not work at all on dapper, edgy, nor feisty.

I have the same controller on an HP L2000 Special Edition (L2105CL). It
worked fine under Dapper Drake, then didn't under Edgy Eft. I was able
to invoke it by typing 'sudo setpci -s05:09.3 4c.b=0x02' to get it to
load under Edgy Eft, then it would recognize the cards after they were
inserted. Ho
