1. I think this is a clear change for the better. Tap to click is an annoying
behavior. Just my opinion, but as good as any other opinion that has been
expressed.

distribution. People expect tap to click to work by default.

This is a 9.10 issue. You don't have this ability in 9.04. This is a
new feature in gnome.
