Ok, just got back from work. Before I left I paused the .asx stream
playing in Movie Player. The box didn't crash. I don't know if it is
relevant, but there is something a little wrong with the visuals in
Movie Player (attachment). NB. the green line down the right edge.

Ok, the crashes seem to happen more while I'm using Movie Player to
stream a radio .asx file...
The machine has been back to the shop for overnight testing, and passed
without a crash, but the only difference I can think of between the shop
and here, is Movie Player.

completely. The screen goes black, then shows the log-in screen.
