After upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic (with the latest updates) I have the same problem. But only while playing youtube or other Flash videos. Every couple of minutes the entire screen goes blank for a second but sound is still playing. I've tested it with Firefox 3.5.3 and Midori 0.1.9 with Flash
