Still broken in Jaunty - just lost all my deleted items when I tried to
expunge stuff in the Junk folder. Any closer to a fix in 2009?

This is apparently not a priority. I have to delete the spam from the
junk folder, then expunge it to get it emptied in Gutsy.

on the drowning in accounts & passwords... I feel your pain... aren't we
all :-)
Unfortunately, we depend on the upstream priorities and/or willing
hackers to go in and correct it. So... it may take a while indeed.

I appreciate it's not a critical bug but it has been open for nearly
one-and-a-half year now...
