Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper
cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is
quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of
this project. This is not trivial to fix, and does not address a
usability deficienc
I see the usefulness of a "Force Anyway" button, but doesn't the
possibility for data loss/destruction exist? If so, that might trump
the convenience of a "Force Anyway" button. Thoughts?

Agreed - there should be a button which runs a utility to check the
integrity of the drive, fix any problems, and mount it.

insert a USB device not safely removed from windows, you get a very
explicit dialog box where there is the description of the problem and
the solution is provided.
It tells you to use the option

Not sure if nautilus is the right place for this as I cannot remember
which component is responsible for this message. In any case, the right
thing to do is probably to run fsck or whatever then just mount it
anyway.
