This bug was originally reported in April 2006 against either Breezy or
an early Dapper on a Toshiba A70; the original reporter has since
reported that it works fine as of May 2006. Therefore, I am marking this
as fix released, since it would seem updates corrected this particular
problem.

can make a reboot with the shutdown button or over the console (without
seeing anything
I went to the linux summit in san diego and talk to Jeff Baillie, a
ubuntu developer, he happen to have almost the same laptop as myself.
He also is unable to sleep.

Same problem, on a ThinkPad T23.
Sorry but I don't have a solution.
My light will actually come back on *once* then if I suspend again, it
will not come back on.
