I have just tried recompiling bluez against the latest packages in
Karmic, and it still fails. Also, "hcitool scan" reports a timeout
error. This is not a kdebluetooth bug.

Also, other programs that use bluetooth directly, like cwiid, cannot
properly use the bluetooth device.

The gnome bluetooth applet won't start correctly either. The bug is
probably not in kdebluetooth.
