could have packages out of ubuntu depending on it and apt special case
the Conflicts,Replaces,Provides combinaison which makes upgrades easier
to calculate
Done. I must admit that I do not really understand why "Provides" is
needed:
- Conflicts/Replaces will handle the transition, uninstalling the two
binary packages (python-gnomecanvas-dbg and python-gconf-dbg)
- if we look at their reverse depends:
$ apt-cache rdepends python-gnomecanvas-dbg pytho
thank you for your bug report, could you use a provides on the previous
binaries too?
