Thanks for the pointer, Luke! However, I don't understand how pavucontrol is supposed to replace the server selection of padevchooser. I looked around in pavucontrol and found no way to select which server was used for sound output using pavucontrol. Also only the sources and sinks on the machine

I booted the fresh install and got the information in the attached file. I also disabled jaunty-backports and jaunty-proposed and downgraded all packages to the "standard" jaunty version. It did not help, that I can see at least. If I enable network sinks on Kexlerus, then pabrowse finds them. (Bu
