beagle still doesn't have a recommends or suggest for mplayer. Perhaps
it was decided elsewhere that it wasn't a good idea after all (that
would be my view too). Reopen if I'm wrong.

With the latest release of beagle, beagle should also recommend totem,
as it can use either/or to index video files.

It sounds like beagle should move from entagged to taglib-sharp. This will also
allow for indexing some video formats, I believe.
Mplayer is not the kind of thing that I want to have pulled in by beagle for
this.

Beagle uses mplayer to extract data from videos (which entagged-sharp
did not support until recently, and its not incredibly reliable) And
more importantly, mplayer will extract data from certain.. off limits
formats , such as asf, and wmv.
