Why was this bug marked as invalid? The package install should set up a
basic working configuration, or allow the user to set it up via debconf.
All that is needed is a subnet declaration.

I have the same problem when i am trying to setup dhcp server. this is what
i've got
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server restart
* Stopping DHCP server dhcpd3 [fail]
* Starting DHCP server dhcpd3

I had the same problem (with Ubuntu Server), but after dhcpd.conf was
configured, DHCP server works fine.
