If you have more than one weather applet, say one for Washington (D.C.) and one for Moscow (Russia), I think it would be unintuitive to default the Washington temperature to Fahrenheit and the the Moscow temperature to Centigrade. The default settings should be picked up from the locale - as Bill N

yes. when there is no location set, the applet now shows '0F'. but once you specify a location (in this case, Glen Burnie), the units are once again in centigrade (right now it says 24C). repeat the steps as above and it happens every time. -- weather applet default units should change by locatio
