I also have this issue on Ubuntu 9.10. Enabling wireless is greyed out
when resuming. A temporary work around is to perform the following after
a resume from suspend.
1. killall knetworkmanager
2. sudo killall NetworkManager
3. sudo NetworkManager &
4. knetworkmanager
5. Wait about 10-15 seconds a
I just installed ubuntu 9.04 on a compaq 6910p and ran update manager /
rebooted . enable wirless remains greyed out. Checked with a win xp hdd,
get onto wifi OK, so who can help. ?
