I have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit with a Nvdia GeForce GT
540M. The problem occurs on both Firefox and Chrome, but only when using
two screens. I try to maximize flash video's, but the video stays
approximately the same size and the rest of the screen is filled with
black. I added a scr
I still have this issue but now I'm using a plugin called
"MaximizeFlash" that helps.

Mine is doing this also. It does this on my dual head laptop running
nVidia TwinView, and on a dual head desktop with an ATI card. I tried
running separate X sessions on my laptop, rather than TwinView, and that
still did not work.
Any ideas on what might be causing this or if it is able to be fix
